Midpoint Evaluation: This week we had the midpoint evaluation of C4GT. I had a meeting with my Super mentor to discuss the progress of the project and the future roadmap. We discussed the following points:

  • The vision of YAUS
  • The current progress of the project
  • The future roadmap of the project
  • Link to the midpoint presentation: Midpoint Present

Feedback​

  • The feedback was positive with a few suggestions on having solid testing strategies and finalizing upon a license for the project to make it a truly open-source project.

Challenges:​

  • The biggest challenge this week was to finalize upon the design changes for the link-expiry feature. I had a meeting with my mentor to discuss the same. We discussed the following points:
    • The current implementation of the link-expiry feature
    • The proposed design changes
    • The pros and cons of the proposed design changes
    • The future roadmap of the project
